This is a GREAT show with a diverse selection of metal sub-genres!  I think you'll like them ALL!

Also this week on The Metal Deli, my first interview since back from hiatus.  I spent some time the other day talking to I AM THE TRIREME (Dark Harvest Records).  Not only was it my first interview since re-starting The Metal Deli, it was the first time I have ever conducted an interview not in my studio or in an outside studio but FROM MY BED.  Broken foot up on a pillow, it was probably the most comfortable I have ever been during an interview.  And the band is GREAT -- I had a great time talking to Jay, Alec, Joe, Paul and Jim.  The interview includes not only info about the band and their NEWLY RELEASED CD but about each band member and lots of their music.  Definitely check out the interview -- it rocks!

The Metal Deli is proud to announce its newest hosting radio station, DARK HARVEST RADIO -- check it out at www.mixlr.com/DHR_Radio -- and thank you to the Dark Harvest family for welcoming me!!  They have been sending me music since the beginning of the Deli and I'm thrilled at this new collaboration!!!

If you've listened to the show even once you know this is my passion.  Finding as-yet-undiscovered metal and sharing it with you is my daily goal.  I don't call it work.  I LOVE every minute of it, from finding the bands on various social networks to contacting them, receiving and listening to their music, playing it on the Deli and contacting them and making great contacts and sometimes friends, The Metal Deli has given me the opportunity to really express myself and help the bands reach new listeners.  Someone mentioned that I smile in all my pictures, unlike most metal bands.  Why am I smiling?  Well, the first reason is because I just can't get that mad metal look down right.  Not my style. And the second reason is I am just so damned happy doing what I do that it's impossible to NOT smile.

So enjoy this week's show, rock on with the interview and have a GREAT WEEK!!!  Keep it metal!
